Project Description:
This project will explore approaches for enhancing access to STI through mobile devices, including an examination of successful applications, both internal and external to the STI community. It will seek advice and expertise from mobile web experts, including the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). The project will attempt to demonstrate a real-world case study of adapting one or more STI web systems for mobile device access and usage. Project members will gain direct insight to current methods and technologies for improving mobile device access and usage to their STI collections and web sites.
