Workshop: Research Data in Chemistry

The TIB is discussing the future of the scientific publication process with publishers

Within the scope of the DFG-funded concept study, "Vernetzte Primärdaten-Infrastruktur für den Wissenschaftler-Arbeitsplatz in der Chemie" (Connected infrastructure of primary data for the scientists’ working place in chemistry) , the TIB organised a workshop on the publication of chemical research data on the 21st April. Project participants from the TBI, FIZ CHEMIE and the chemistry department of the University of Paderborn held discussions with representatives of several chemistry publishers about the future of the scientific publication process. The focus was on the access to research data and the linking of research data to the corresponding publications.
