Conditions of delivery for Employees/members of publicly funded institutions within Germany
- Unlimited postal and fax deliveries (inc. PC-fax)
Scan quality (resolution 300 dpi) can only be guaranteed with postal delivery. This quality cannot be achieved using the same scanning process in combination with a fax delivery (resolution 200 dpi).
- Unlimited electronic delivery possible if no obvious electronic publication exists.
Electronic deliveries without DRM protection are possible if the TIB has the publication in its stock and NO pubisher's licence or obvious electronic publication exists for it.

Electronic delivery of these publications takes place with DRM-protection.

- Electronic delivery from TIB stocks of "grey literature"
"Grey literature" means literature which is not available through bookshops and is as a rule difficult to source. This includes, for example, conference reports, German and foreign research reports etc. for which the TIB is the exclusive holder in the area of science and technology.
