Order by TIBsubito Library Service

The TIBsubito Library Service is an offer to libraries in Germany, Austria, Liechtenstein and Switzerland and to libraries abroad in countries listed to provide a delivery service within a guaranteed maximum time (monday to friday) of 72 hours.

To be admitted libraries must be predominantly public-subsidized.

Please note one restriction:
Commercial users cannot participate in this service.

Participants can be:

  • National libraries
  • County libraries
  • University libraries
  • Regional libraries
  • College libraries
  • Public libraries
  • Special libraries

How does it work

The library:

  • registers with GetInfo
  • submits orders to GetInfo
  • gets the delivery by TIB
  • gets the invoice by TIB and
  • pays TIB

Important notice
The costs for orders via the TIBsubito Library Service will be deducted from the Subito central settlement of accounts.
It cannot be deducted from your advance-payment account with TIB Hannover!

Registration

If you meet the requirements for the TIBsubito Library Service you can
register now. Please use TIB-services via GetInfo.
After checking your customer data you will be advised that your customer number is activated.

List of accepted countries for delivery within Europe

1. (a) all EU member states {Art. 299 (1) EU} with the exception of Germany and Austria
EU member states: Belgium, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, The Netherlands, United Kingdom 
(b) the French overseas departments, the Azores, Madeira, and the Canary Islands {Art. 299 (2) EU} 
(c) the regions associated with the EU {Art. 299 (3) EU}
Regions associated with the EU: Greenland, New Caledonia and Dependencies, French Polynesia, French Southern and Antarctic Territories, Wallis and Futuna Islands, Mayotte, Saint Pierre and Miquelon, Aruba, Netherlands Antilles, Bonaire, Curaçao, Saba, Sint Eustatius, Sint Maarten, Anguilla, Cayman Islands, Falkland Islands, South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands, Montserrat, Pitcairn, Saint Helena and Dependencies, British Antarctic Territory, British Indian Ocean Territory, Turks and Caicos Islands, British Virgin Islands, Bermuda 
(d) the European sovereign territories whose foreign relations are conducted by an EU member state {Art. 299 (4) EU}
